Autism 360 is seeking a highly organized and personable Recruiting Assistant to support our growing Talent Acquisition team.
This role combines administrative precision with candidate interaction, supporting the hiring systems that help Autism 360 build exceptional teams serving children with autism and their families.
The Recruiting Assistant reports directly to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and plays a key role in supporting hiring efforts across our centers. By helping ensure that recruiting and onboarding processes run smoothly, this role directly supports the clinicians, behavior technicians, and professionals who deliver life changing ABA services every day.
This is a Monday through Friday position from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM based in our Charlotte University office, with travel to other Autism 360 locations as needed.
Position Overview
The Recruiting Assistant helps ensure that candidates move smoothly through the hiring process from application through onboarding. This includes managing recruiting trackers, coordinating offers and onboarding documentation, supporting hiring events, and ensuring that critical recruiting steps are completed accurately and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping systems organized, tracking details, and supporting a fast moving hiring environment while still engaging directly with candidates and teams who are passionate about making a difference in the autism community.
Work Schedule and Location
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Based in the Charlotte University office.
Travel to other Autism 360 locations may be required up to two times per week to support hiring events or recruiting operations.
Candidates must live in the Charlotte area and be able to reliably travel to multiple sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Support day to day recruiting operations and hiring workflows
Monitor recruiting trackers and ensure hiring steps are completed accurately and on schedule
Assist with sending and tracking applications, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
Perform checks and balances to ensure candidate records and hiring data remain accurate
Support coordination of interviews, hiring events, and candidate communication
Assist in hosting hiring events and welcoming candidates during onsite recruiting activities
Maintain organization of recruiting documentation, files, and internal hiring records
Communicate with candidates to provide updates and support throughout the hiring process
Help ensure a positive, professional candidate experience for individuals interested in working in ABA and autism services
Systems and Tools Used

Dropbox
Strong comfort working across multiple systems and tracking tools simultaneously is essential.
Ideal Background
1 year of experience in recruiting support, HR administration, onboarding coordination, or related administrative work OR Recent graduate from an HR, business, or related program with strong organizational and communication skills
Experience tracking processes, managing documentation, or coordinating administrative workflows
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfort interacting with candidates both individually and in group settings
Ability to stay organized in a fast moving environment while maintaining accuracy
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Autism 360 locations as needed
Experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or familiarity with the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), autism services, or behavioral health is highly preferred.

Compensation
$45,000 - $50,000 annual salary based on experience.
