ABOUT THE ROLE
Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians at Autism 360 provide one-on-one, play-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in a structured, center-based environment.
In this role, you will work directly with children using individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA. You will engage learners through guided play, movement, and meaningful interaction, collect session data electronically, complete documentation accurately, and collaborate closely with your supervising BCBA and clinical team.
This is a center-based position only. There are no in-home sessions, evenings, weekends, or major holidays.
TWO PATHWAYS TO JOIN OUR TEAM
Path 1: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
This path is ideal for individuals with ABA experience and an active RBT certification.
Requirements to Be Hired as an RBT
Active RBT certification or prior experience working as a Behavior Technician in ABA.
Ability to implement treatment plans and collect accurate behavioral data.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass required screenings.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transition between positions throughout the day.
Experienced RBTs are valued as skilled clinicians and contributors, with opportunities for growth and leadership.
Path 2: Behavior Technician (BT) Trainee
This path is designed for individuals new to ABA who are interested in working with children and building a long-term career in the field. No prior experience is required.
Requirements to Be Hired as a BT TRAINEE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to complete paid training and earn RBT certification within 90 days of hire.
Comfort working in an active, hands-on environment with children.
Openness to coaching, feedback, and ongoing skill development.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass required screenings.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transition between positions throughout the day.
SCHEDULING AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Center hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
There are no evenings, weekends, or major holidays.
Scheduling is built around 3-hour session blocks from 8–11, 11–2, and 2–5.
A dedicated scheduling team supports consistent weekly hours, and most technicians work between 30 and 36 hours per week.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Autism 360 believes in clear, transparent compensation. All technicians start from the same base rate and earn additional hourly incentive pay based on certification, experience, and location.
Base Pay
All team members start at a BASE RATE of $18/HOUR after completion of required training.
Hourly Incentive Opportunities
Behavior Technician Trainees can earn an additional $3/HOUR once RBT certification is completed.
Experienced Registered Behavior Technicians may earn an hourly incentive of $3–$9/HOUR based on credential and skill level.
Total potential hourly compensation ranges from $18–$27/HOUR
Paid Training and Career Investment
All new hires receive comprehensive paid training (at a reduced training rate of $10/HOUR).
Autism 360 provides full coordination and support to earn and maintain RBT certification, ongoing mentorship, supervision, and professional development.
Our Student Analyst program offers eligible supervision hours and education credits toward BCBA certification when applicable.
